Remembering Tupac Shakur 21 Years After His Passing
21 years ago today we lost a once in a lifetime talent. Though only 25-years old at the time his death, Tupac Shakur’s accomplishments exceed those many stars who have been around decades longer.
He was a rapper, actor, poet and a revolutionary.
Eleven Tupac albums have been released. Seven them posthumously, with total sales exceeding 75 million.
On April 7, 2017, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Fame.
As an actor Tupac appeared in seven major films. His most famous role was as the mercurial Bishop in the 1992 film, “Juice.”
Tupac may be gone in the physical form, but he lives on in the hearts and minds his legion fans.
