Joe Budden Responds After Zoey Dollaz References Him In Cypher

The talk the night during Tuesday’s BET Hip Hop Awards was most definitely the cyphers, and Zoey Dollaz was among the rappers getting some attention after showing f what type bars he had. Though people had some mixed reviews on the actual quality on the entirety his cypher, there was one particular bar that got everyone talking–the one that referenced Joe Budden. The Miami rapper flipped a line from Jay Z’s latest album 4:44 by turning it against Budden, he said:

“Jay told me never go Eric Benet/I say never go Joe Budden, and lose a bad chick like Tahiry all on TV.”

In case you don’t already know, Joe Budden got broken up with on Love & Hip Hop by his then girl Tahiry, which is what Zoey is referencing. After the cypher aired, Joe tweeted and deleted “Dude keep mentioning me like he can rap lol” before directly responding with “U trash @ZoeyDollaz.”  Dollaz screenshot the mention before deletion and posted it to his IG page.

Considering the fact that Joe is now a self-proclaimed retired rapper, this probably won’t escalate any further….when Russ called him out in a track a few weeks back, he didn’t respond in a song either. After having a whole feud with Drake, it wouldn’t be f-base to say that Budden is probably waiting for a higher-caliber call out to take him out retirement.
