New Music: Lovele$$ feat. Young Dolph ‘Sparkle’

Lovele$$ stays shining on his new single “Sparkle” featuring Young Dolph.

After collaborating with Lil Yachty on “Kiss the Money,” the Los Angeles rapper unleashes an infectious anthem that glitters over melodic piano keys. “God bless the money count,” he raps. “Counting my blessings / Flawless perfection / In the streets I’m a legend.”

Dolph joins the diamond celebration with boasts about his bank account. “I ain’t got time to play, spend all my time getting paid,” he brags. “All these racks on me, I might go buy another car today.”

The collaboration, which is now being ficially released on Atlantic Records, was years in the making. “I met Dolph about five years ago in L.A., back then we were both still in the streets,” he tells Rap-Up. “I honestly didn’t even know he did music until I heard about him years later.”

Dolph originally sent the verse to Lovele$$ for another song, but it pushed the burgeoning artist to switch up the whole track. “When I listened to his verse, it was so hard I had to change the entire song,” he said. “That’s how we got ‘Sparkle.’ God bless Dolph.”
